HTC Rezound to Get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on April 6

The users of the HTC Rezound have been waiting for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update already for a long time. As you know the AT&T HTC Vivid surpassed the HTC Rezound and got its portion of ICS sooner. This means the HTC Rezound will be the second smartphone to get the update.

Till April 5 there were some rumors the update was delayed and that the users would get only a minor update. On April 5 Best Buy sent our an internal memo to the employees notifying that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be rolled out on April 6.

According to that new doc the updates for the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx are delayed. With the coming Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS the smartphones will get Beats Audio and HD Voice support; of course only those smartphones which lack these features.
Be attentive, not to miss the notification.

    Today is April 8, 2012.

My Rezound is still running Android 2.3.4.

I just checked for software updates and get the message, “No new software update available”.

So where is this April 6th update spoken of?

Dear all, it doesn’t depend on us. We are an unofficial HTC portal, an independent blog. These are rumors and we take them from certain sources to inform you. So maybe you should wait a bit more to get the update. Thanks
