The HTC One X has got praises from the users and the reviewers. But the main problem the users face is the battery. Fortunately, the company now is working on the solution of this problem.
A developer on xda-developers forums has found that the reason of the poor battery is the Nvidia Tegra 3 power management controls. The power control app, NvCPLSvc.apk is placed in the system/bin folder, while it should have been placed in system/app folder. There is one thing you should do, just remove the folder to the right place and you will get about 10-20 percent boost in battery life. This has been experienced by some users and they are now more proud of their HTC One X smartphones.
What the user needs to do is
- Not to miss NvCPLSvc.odex because NvCPLSvc.apk is not odexed.
- Download resigned NvCPLSvc – http://xda3.androidrevolution.nl/db_…s/NvCPLSvc.apk
- adb push NvCPLSvc.apk /system/app
- Reboot into recovery
- Clear dalvik-cache
- Boot system and check if system@app@NvCPLSvc.firstname.lastname@example.org is in data/dalvik-cache
