The famous HTC One XL that was unveiled with the HTC One X at MWC 2012 is coming to Europe in June. The info is official; HTC has announced it with the European carrier Vodafone. The key feature of the HTC One XL is that it is the first LTE smartphone that has been designed for the European market. Surely, a few hardware changes have been carried out for accommodating this feature.
We wrote that the quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip does not allow LTE support; this is why it has been replaced with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1.5GHz. The left specs remain the same. Coming with a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, an 8MP camera and polycarbonate body the HTC One XL runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It is packed with 32GB of on-board storage, 25GB of cloud storage and courtesy of Dropbox.
The smartphone will be available via Vodafone Germany firstly, then by Deutsche Telekom and O2 Germany. The price will be 659 euro (for about $836) without any contract.
