HTC Smartphones ICS Update’s Schedule Table

We have been waiting for it for a long time. And now the schedule table of the HTC smartphones that are going to get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is published. As you know a few smartphones already run Google’s new version platform and now it is time for other users to win the lucky ticket and start enjoying the power of ICS.

We have already told that the first smartphone, which got Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update was AT&T’s HTC Vivid, after it the HTC Amaze 4G got its portion of ICS and was followed by HTC Sensation 4G.
According to the Taiwanese company all those smartphones, which have less than 512MB of RAM will not get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The tablets are not included in the list; this means the devices like the HTC Flyer, the HTC Evo 4G and the Jetstream will have to run Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

All the smartphones that are included in the list of getting ICS will get the update till the end of summer. The last devices that will get the ICS update are the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Thunderbolt. As for the HTC Droid Incredible 2 the company has not decided whether it will get the update or not. We would rather wait till August to learn the final statement.
