We talked that Vodafone Germany is going to launch the HTC One XL that was announced at MWC 2012. And now the Taiwanese company and Vodafone have officially announced the HTC One XL LTE Android smartphones. In the US this smartphone is identical with the AT&T’s HTC One X, by the way it is already available at Amazon and AT&T direct sale. Besides the US the HTC One X was launched in Asia and Australia.
The new HTC One XL smartphone is based on a 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor and comes with a 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass protected with Super LCD2 HD 720p touchscreen. It has an 8MP back camera with smart LED flash, auto focus and video stabilization feature. The device uses a F2.0 aperture, 28mm lens, and BSI sensor for ensuring better quality shoots on the low-light condition. For video chats the users of the HTC One XL can turn on the 1.4MP front-facing camera.
The HTC One XL features new Sense 4 user interface and supports Beats Audio like other upper-class smartphones. The HTC One XL works in quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, dual-band UMTS/HSPA+/HSUPA 900/2100 MHz and tri-band LTE at 800/1800/2600 MHz mobile networks. Among its connectivity settings are WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4GHx and 5GHz) with DLNA certified, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0. While the other useful features include Gyroscope, e-compass, G-sensors, proximity and an ambient light sensor.
The HTC One XL will come in black and white colors and will be available in Germany’s stores starting from early June for the price of €659 (about $830) without contract. Vodafone is going to sell the black version of the HTC One XL for €699(about $880).
According to the rumors Deutsche Telekom and O2 Germany and other carriers will offer the HTC One XL in Europe.
