Changes in the Name of New HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE

We already talked about the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, which should be launched on July 5. As for now there are already some ads made by Verizon. I guess you understand that the sales of the HTC Incredible 4G LTE smartphone can be hard for one big reason- a week after the launch, out comes the Samsung Galaxy S III.

The smartphone will come with $50 mail-in rebate, but I think this will not be enough to   persuade the people to buy the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE phone. Verizon is going to offer the smartphone to those people who do not know the smartphone market well. Just imagine you enter one of the Verizon’s stores and you are do not have much info about the latest smartphones. Here comes the rep and says:

“The HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE is our newest Android model.”

It will be the truth. That is, until the Samsung Galaxy S III is released.

In some cases Verizon might have accidentally confused a few people by sending out an ad containing a phone called the HTC DROID Incredible 4. IF taking into account the fact that there has never been a DROID Incredible 3 it would be a pretty safe assumption that the “G” and the “LTE” fell off the page before the ad hit the press.

Anyway, the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE is a good smartphone if considering the fact it comes with a 4 inch Super LCD display with qHD resolution and a 275ppi pixel density. The device is based on a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with 1GB of RAM. It also has 8GB of native storage, which can be expanded to 40GB using the 32GB capacity microSD slot. The device features an 8MP with LED flash and 1080p video capturing. For video calls the users can use the front-facing camera and enjoy the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with Sense 4.0.
