A few days ago the net was full of new info about Nokia’s plans to introduce its first Windows Phone 8 devices in September. Now there is a new rumor that the Taiwanese company is getting its first WP8 smartphones ready to get launched later, in the third week of September.
If you remember even earlier rumors told that HTC was prepping three Windows Phone devices the codenames of which are Rio, Accord and Zenith. The HTC Zenith is said to come with a monstrous 4.7-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display, a quad-core Snapdragon chip and an 8-megapixel camera.
As for the HTC Rio and the HTC Accord they will have more modest specs. The HTC Rio is told to feature a 4-inch WVGA screen and a 5-megapixel 720p camera, while the HTC Accord will come with a 4.3-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p video and a dual-core processor.
What do you think; can we hear about the announcement of these WP8 devices in late September? Microsoft is going to unveil its mobile operating system this fall and for this it will need devices.
However, I think we should wait and time will show whether those Windows Phone 8 devices will come or not.
